A Program to Celebrate 125 Years of History !

LA MALBAIE(Québec), Wednesday, May 1, 2024 — June 15 will mark the 125th anniversary of Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu: 125 years of history, hospitality, and vacationing in La Malbaie. The hotel, part of the Complexe de divertissement Hôtel-Casino de Charlevoix will ring in the celebrations with a festive program, featuring its Grande Célébration cocktail reception in June, its Grand Pique-Nique en Blanc in July, and its Grande Disco in October. A number of Charlevoix businesses have joined forces with Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu to offer exceptional limited-edition anniversary products.
125th ANNIVERSARY PROGRAM
On Saturday June 15, visitors can join in the festivities at The Great 125th Anniversary Celebration, with a guided historical tour followed by a spectacular evening! The program includes a delightful cocktail reception, a drone show overlooking the river, and afterglow access to Bar 21 at Le Casino de Charlevoix. The following morning promises to be just as special, thanks to a musical brunch at Restaurant Saint-Laurent. The complete 125th Anniversary Celebration package will be available on the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu website from May 1, at a cost of $759 before service and taxes for two people with overnight stay ($975 service and taxes included). Evening-only tickets are also available online at a cost of $150 plus service and taxes per person ($203.50 service and taxes included).
On Sunday July 28, the Grand Pique-Nique en Blanc will enrich Le Manoir‘s riverfront. Guests will settle around an all-white table, dressed in their finest white attire as music swirls around them. Food lovers can indulge in a gourmet basket for two, prepared by Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu‘s new catering service, MR Le Traiteur, while admiring the majestic scenery of the St. Lawrence River. To round off this exceptional year on a truly festive note, La Grande Disco du 125e anniversaire will be in full swing on Saturday October 26. The ballroom dance floor will erupt to the rhythms of the Boogie Wonder Band and former Le Manoir DJs. A testament to local pride, a host of the region’s businesses are participating in this landmark anniversary by offering products exclusively created for Le Manoir Richelieu‘s 125th anniversary. Hydromel Charlevoix has launched two new bourbon and whisky reserve honeys, sold for $12 plus tax at Café Bellerive, as well as its Gin 1899, with its refreshing and well-balanced floral notes, sold for $79 plus tax at Bar La Brise. And just in time for summer, La Microbrasserie de Charlevoix is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of its La Brut du 125e beer, while Cidrerie Les Travaux et Les Jours will be releasing its Pommettes du Manoir cider.
