Make-A-Wish creates life-changing Wishes for children with critical illnesses. The first Wish was granted in 1980 to Chris Greicius who wished to be a police officer. His Wish inspired the creation of Make-A-Wish which is now the world’s leading children’s Wish-granting organization, granting more than 615,000 Wishes in nearly 50 countries worldwide. Make-A-Wish delivers hope and joy to children and their families when they need it most.

This festive season, Fairmont will unveil a collection of Make-A-Wish Festive Experiences that blend celebration with purpose.
Wishing Tree in our Wellness Centre:
This season brings something new: a Make-A-Wish Tree in our Wellness Centre. From November 10, 2025, through early January 2026, guests will be invited to hang a personal wish in exchange for a donation, a meaningful gesture that helps grant children’s dreams and carries forward the spirit of generosity that defines this special time of year.
